Details of a new three-day festival have been revealed by Unlocked Events, the organiser of Unlocked Fest 2021, which will take place from June 18-20, 2021 at Newark Showground.

Steve Yeardsley, founder of Unlocked Fest, the organiser of the three-day event, has promised a line-up full of the “UK’s biggest tracks from the nineties onwards, performed by a combination of original and tribute artists”.

Headliners already confirmed include a festival set from the Ministry of Sound Classical, The Feeling, Craig Charles, Inner City, and Republica. The line-up also features Go West, Space, Dario G, 5ive, Sonique, Phats & Small and Big Brovaz, with many more acts to be announced in the coming months.

Yeardsley, who is also managing director of OneBigStar, the technical production company, said of the launch: “The UK undoubtedly has some amazing festivals and outdoor events. Unlocked Fest aims to marry a vibrant music festival with high-end production values with the food and beverage offer that you expect to find when you attend outdoor events such as Goodwood Festival of Speed or Wimbledon, in order to create an experience that will appeal both to seasoned festivalgoers and also to an audience who might not otherwise attend a festival. Having come out of a year where there have been no events at all, I think that by next June the public will be beyond ready to enjoy great music, food and drink with friends and family in a relaxing and ambient environment.”

He continued: “Getting the line-up right is also key. We’ve all been to festivals where the headliners sing one or two well-known tracks and fill the rest of the set with the new material. We really want the music to be familiar, songs that the crowd sing and dance along to all day and night. We’re going to create everyone’s favourite playlist and deliver it live! The artists already confirmed show that we’re well on our way to achieving that and we’ve got a couple of show stopping surprises that we’ll be announcing soon.”

Unlocked Fest will also feature artisan food and drink vendors, a traditional funfair, dedicated kids zone, alate night silent disco, along with a host of camping and glamping options.
