Thorns Group, the events and exhibitions contractor, has appointed Nick Parkes as operations manager to oversee the day-to-day running of Thorns’ portfolio of live events.
Parkes has worked for Thorns for more than four years full time, and on a freelance basis 10 years prior to that as events and exhibitions manager. Parkes’ role will involve working closely with the senior site managers, warehouse, operations and sales teams within Thorns Group.
Parkes commented: “I’m looking forward to a new and exciting challenge working more closely, not just with the organisers but also various teams within the company to make sure all of our events run smoothly, and we continue to deliver award winning customer service.”
