Photo experience agency, The Flash Pack, has created a multi camera Bullet Rig and will be launching it at the British GQ Men of the Year Awards in September. The Bullet Rig creates a 360 degree “Matrix” style image of a person frozen in action –which can then be shared in real time on social media.
Jerome Maas, director, The Flash Pack, commented: “The Bullet Rig is an amazing piece of technology – we can now create a very smooth 360 degree rotating image of a person, that can be immediately shared on social media. This ground-breaking technique, which was first showcased in The Matrix, is now available for brands to use within their experiences to create a really stunning effect that will truly engage audiences.
“Over 1.8 billion photos are shared online every day, and account for 75 per cent of content posted on Facebook. To stand out, brands need to offer something a little different and the Bullet Rig offers that. I’m really looking forward to seeing the Bullet Rig in action at the GQ event and see the amazing content created by their very prominent guests.”
The Flash Pack Bullet Rig is available in a variety of sizes ranging from a full 360 degree rig complete with 100 cameras, to a mini “arc” of just 10, suitable for events with limited space. This custom-built technology fires the cameras simultaneously to capture the images and then stitches content together with branded video footage to create “frozen in time” style moving content of the subject.
The Flash Pack Bullet Rig will be launched at the GQ Men of the Year Awards on September 8 at the Royal Opera House in central London. The rig will be complemented by social sharing stations enabling guests to share their 360 degree videos immediately to social media.
