Specsavers has signed a three-year deal with The ICC that will see the brand go back to the Birmingham-based venue for 2018, 2019 and 2020. More than 11,000 delegates will come to the venue for the nine events, with three being hosted each year.
Jack Ismail, partnership director for Specsavers UK and ROI, said: “We are looking forward to continuing to bring our events to The ICC. Each year our event continues to grow and the team has been extremely helpful by coming up with new solutions to accommodate our increasing numbers.
“The ICC team worked with us closely every step of the way, listening to our needs and showing us what the venue can deliver. We have no doubt The ICC is the right venue for us.”
Ismail continued: “We have a great relationship with the team and we find that the staff and venue really reflect our values as a business. The whole company really enjoys our events at The ICC.”
James Elston, sales director at The ICC, added: “We are delighted to welcome Specsavers back to The ICC for three more years. We have a great relationship with the team and have worked to ensure our venue could deliver the best possible event for them.”
The ICC has also provided full technical production services to Specsavers for more than 20 years, helping deliver their targeted messages to the relevant business audience in the most appropriate manner.
The support ranges from multiple styles of staging to full audio visual and live camera support. The ICC will be delivering extremely tight turnarounds between various elements of the event to a high standard.
