Nissan is looking at plans to develop its Future:Today brand activation and roadshow concept for 2013 following a successful tour of Europe. Proud Robinson contracted Sevens7 to build, plan and deliver the live event, which saw the car giant tour Oslo, Bergen and Stockholm, showcasing its zero-emission Nissan Leaf to visitors.
Sevens7 brought in White Circle to create a touring set of customised shipping containers, which formed the 142 square metres of exhibition and event space. Designed by Jump Studios, the Nissan structure utilised five 40-foot hi-cube shipping containers and two 20-foot hi-cube shipping containers. These were stacked together to create a suitable space for the Nissan team to interact with potential customers.
The exhibition, spaced over two floors, offered visitors a glimpse into what the future could look like. Stand out features included interactive exterior walls, which tracked the movements of passers-by.
Fly by Nite toured with Sevens7 throughout the roadshow to transport the Nissan structure on three 45-foot low ride trailers and three 40-foot trailers. Each location required a 75-tonne crane to load in.
