The East Anglian Festival Network (EAFN) and Gigs Out have revealed the results of their annual survey, which asks the region’s festivalgoers which of the 400 East Anglian festivals that took place in 2018 were their favourites.
More than 1,500 East Anglian festivalgoers voted for their favourite festivals across the three counties of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. One hundred and fifty of the 400 festivals listed received votes and in addition to the three county favourites, the festival that received the most votes overall from all three surveys is also named East Anglian Festival of the Year 2018. The survey ran for three weeks over the festive period.
The results of the survey were:
Cambridgeshire Festival of the Year 2018: Buckfest
Norfolk Festival of the Year 2018: Folk in a Field
Suffolk Festival of the Year 2018: LeeStock Music Festival
Overall the most votes went to Folk in a Field, which was crowned the East Anglian Festival of the Year.
