The gaming consumer and industry show, Strategy – The Table Top Gaming Event, will make its debut at the Telford International Centre on August 25-28.
Organised by MCM Central, the company behind the MCM London Comic Con and other pop culture events, Strategy offers table top gaming a platform to reach out to worldwide consumer visitors and industry.
The new show will be run by games industry veteran, Rob Hooley, who joins MCM from Konami Europe, where he was events manager for its Yu-Gi-Oh! card game. Hooley has also worked as an events/brand manager for Tomy and has organised play manager for Upper Deck International.
Positioned after Gencon Indy, Strategy provides an opportunity for a European platform to showcase upcoming games and new releases. The show will feature board games, card games, miniatures games and roleplaying games – plus dedicated tournament and playing space. The show will be open 24-hours from opening Thursday and through to Sunday evening.
Plans are also underway to include panels, special events and live evening entertainment for visitors.
