Ellie Jones has been appointed agency sales manager at Butlin’s Conference and Events.

Before joining Butlin’s Conference and Events, Jones held the position of national account manager at Center Parcs, looking after its portfolio of agents. Jones joins the team with more than 13 years’ experience, having also worked at Merlin Entertainments, the Principal Hayley Hotel Chain and Zibrant.

As agency sales manager, Jones’ role will predominately be field-based, building relationships with agents and ultimately bringing in new business to the conference and events team. Her role will be pivotal in further positioning Butlin’s as a trusted conference and events venue that offers delegates an exciting and unusual alternative to traditional event spaces within the UK MICE market.

Jones commented on her appointment: ‘I am so excited to have joined the Conference and Events Team at Butlin’s. I have received an overwhelmingly warm welcome, meeting people who have a huge amount of passion and loyalty to the Butlin’s iconic brand. I, along with many others had pre-conceived perceptions of Butlin’s, but after visiting the resorts I have been absolutely wowed by what we have to offer for corporate events.
