Mclcreate, the integrated live events company, has appointed Jill Leake as its new client development director.
Leake has experience in the theatre, publishing, marketing and communications industries spanning more than 30 years, and is also a member of The Institute of Leadership and Management and the Association of Professional Sales.
Tim Spencer, CEO of Mclcreate, commented: “Everything we do at Mclcreate is client driven and Jill’s appointment epitomises this core strength within our business. She shares our passion for live events and brings a rich and valuable client perspective that will be a huge asset to our clients and to our own business. Her appointment is, at once, a significant statement of where we stand as a business today and a serious declaration of the intent behind our future direction.”
Leake added: “Mclcreate is a special live events business that’s in great shape for the future. Having worked with the company for many years on many different projects, I understand its DNA, its creative and production capabilities and the fantastic talents of its people. I’m looking forward to building on these core strengths and, using my experience, connections and client-side knowledge to drive more growth for Mclcreate in the future.”
Leake is the second senior management appointment at Mclcreate, following its management buyout from the NEP Group in September 2017. She joins Neil Lawson, who took over as managing director at that time and has a background in senior positions at HSBC and in high level business consultancy.
