Make Events, the corporate events agency, is moving to a new location next month, having outgrown its current office after more than doubling the amount of team members onboard.

The company will move its Cheshire-based staff to House of Make, at Bollin House in May 2019. Currently based in Stanley Green Business Park – the company is having to move to accommodate the team’s recent growth, having employed nine new members of staff in the last year.

Holly More, founder and MD of Make Events, commented: “We have kept lean for the last six years and stayed in an office space that wasn’t reflective of our brand but enabled us to grow in a considered and stable manner. We have now built up enough resilience to be able to give our team the ultimate experience as well as our customers.”

Make Events’ 12-month recruitment plan is now complete, with recruits from BBC, DRP, Fresh and Concerto. The most recent appointment is Catherine Godsland, former managing director of Out There Events, Godsland will be joining the business on a consultative basis to support growth and account development plans, whilst also being a mentor to the team.

Toni Horsfield, the interior designer, has been appointed to facilitate the office move. Horsfield said: “It is a joy to work with such a progressive brand. Holly’s vision for the space has been clear from the start and we have been able to really tailor the office to reflect the Make Events DNA; quotes and all! I think it is going to be an extremely creative workspace with some very happy colleagues.”

Moore added: “The coffee and champagne will always be in abundance with the odd event thrown in too; we welcome clients, suppliers and local businesses to pop in any time.”
