Losberger De Boer provided the main exhibition halls for SPE Offshore Europe 2017 – organised by Reed Exhibitions – in Aberdeen.
Losberger De Boer’s 50m wide Jumbo Halls extended to 190m long in hall three and housed more than 1,000 exhibitors across the oil and gas industry’s European event. The main halls were also fitted with specialist, industrial roller shutter doors allowing easy access for heavyweight exhibits and large machinery.
Jackie Gregson-Brown, contract manager at Losberger De Boer, commented: “Losberger De Boer has been working with Reed Exhibitions on Offshore Europe for over 25 years. We have retained the same core team who understand the project, the client’s requirements and the challenging Aberdeen climate. Our experience ensures that everyone involved has a great and enjoyable conference.”
The team took the weather into careful consideration when building the structures for the event, which took twenty people fifteen days to build. Losberger De Boer’s Jumbo Halls are built to withstand even the harshest of weather conditions, an important feature for the coast based exhibition.
Ben Gleeson, group operations manager at Reed Exhibitions, added: “The service we receive from Losberger De Boer is of a proven high standard. The range of structures they provided this year, covering 25,000 square metres, were all delivered on time. Their previous experience on the project is extensive and ensures that the event runs smoothly.”
The biennial four-day oil and gas industry conference attracted more than 36,000 attendees from all over the world and some of the biggest names in the oil and gas industry.
