Jamie Oliver’s The Big Feastival has a new home. The food and music event is moving from Clapham Common and will take place at Alex James’ farm in Kingham, Oxfordshire, which last year hosted Alex James presents Harvest – an event that left many contractors being owed money, as its organiser Big Wheel Promotions ceased trading.

The Big Feastival will take place on September 1 and 2 and will be run by Brand Events, under the watchful eye of event manager Vicky Bodhani. The event has capacity for 9,999 people.

Paloma Faith, Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes and Razorlight have been named in the first round of acts. British chef Mark Hix will return to the site, creating a pop-up restaurant – he will feature alongside a host of other celebrity chefs, a farmers market and demos in The Big Kitchen.
