Hale Events, the southwest-based events company, has acquired the Christmas Shopping Fayre, held annually at Exeter’s Westpoint.

The event regularly attracts tens of thousands of festive shoppers and features more than 250 diverse stallholders offering their Christmas lines each year. The event also offers low admission prices, a free Santa’s grotto and free parking.

The Christmas Shopping Fayre was the brainchild of Grahame Davidson who has been running the show since 1996. After much consideration, Davidson decided that Hale Events were the correct company to take the event forward.

Mike Anderson, managing director of Hale Events, commented: “We are delighted to add this popular and very successful Fayre to our show portfolio. This show compliments the range of business to business shows that Hale currently organise and will provide a great direct sales opportunity for our clients, at a fantastic time of year.”

For exhibitors and shoppers alike is that there will be no noticeable changes to the way the event has been run and Davidson will continue to help organise the event. The Christmas Shopping Fayre takes place Novemner 23-25 at Westpoint, Exeter.
