Filmmaster Events has been entrusted with the organisation and promotion of the event: from the technical management of the circuit and all its related structures and infrastructure, to the design, production and coordination of the E-Village.
In the run-up to the race on April 13, numerous accompanying attractions and initiatives will be organised on the afternoon of Friday 12, in the Allianz E-Village area, the village dedicated to cars and fans. Here it will be possible to watch the track test session for the Gen2 competition cars, the practice sessions for the new Jaguar IPace eTrophy championship, paralympic competitions (rugby, hockey and basketball) and a major musical event open to the city.
Another new addition at this year’s GEOX Rome E-Prix is the E-Parade, the capital’s first Electric Social Parade, a parade of environmentally friendly and electric vehicles. The global spotlight will then turn to Rome for the start of the race on April 13, with a live broadcast on Mediaset starting at three o’clock.
Andrea Varnier, CEO of Filmmaster Events, commented: “The 2019 Geox Rome E-Prix is a prestigious global showcase for the city of Rome. Filmmaster Events is proud to support Formula E for the second year running and to offer its extensive experience in the creation and management of major international sporting events, as well as its recognised ability to manage complex events in different areas.”
