The organiser of the Event Technology Awards has revealed the first group of judges for the 2019 event.

The first group of 12 judges are drawn from the expo, media, brand, agency and festival sectors, and includes representation from Reed Exhibitions, GSK, Imagination and Bournemouth 7s.

The Event Technology Awards ceremony will take place November 6 at Troxy, London, and will bridge the gap between days one and two of Event Tech Live, the show dedicated to event technology.

Scott Cullather, co-founder and CEO of INVNT, is making his debut on the judging panel and will join Abi Cannons, digital innovation success manager at Reed Exhibitions. Charlotte Hammerbeck, director of meetings technology at GSK is returning to the judging panel, having judged the 2018 awards.

From the festival and outdoor sector, Craig Mathie managing director of Bournemouth 7’s makes his Event Technology Awards judging debut, and is joined by Lily Brimble, senior project manager at Richmond Event Management.

Adam Parry, co-founder of the awards, said: “To retain the integrity of the awards, it is vital that the entries are judged by professionals who are at the very top of our industry and who understand why innovation in event technology is so important. I’m delighted to say that the 2019 judging panel perfectly reflects the criteria.”
