What’s the best way to liaise with licensing and meet the specific conditions of my event licence? What does the future of the event and festival industry look like? What steps can I take to make my event more sustainable?

These are just some of the questions that event organisers may pose at Event Buyers Live 2021 when live event professionals get the opportunity to take part in a series of roundtable discussions at the most anticipated industry event of the year.

Licensing, Scenario Planning for Events and Festivals and Sustainability are just a handful of the topics to be revealed by Event Buyers Live’s organising team, alongside a series of industry experts who will facilitate the sessions.

Jennifer Mackley, licensing manager at Glastonbury Festivals and director of Mackley Projects and Events, Ben Whur, director of Proud Events, and Chris Johnson, operations director and sustainability lead at Shambala and chair of the UK’s outdoor event industry environmental steering group, Vision:2025, will lead dedicated roundtables on Licensing, Scenario Planning for Events and Festivals and Sustainability.

Live event professionals at the industry event, which takes place from November 29 – December 1, will be able to join the experts, who will encourage debate, pose questions, and offer up their own opinions and ideas.

Sharing lessons

Event Buyers Live will return in 2021, bringing together event organisers and suppliers in a structured business and networking environment at the De Vere EMCC and Orchard Hotel, winner of Best Sustainable Venue at CHS Awards 2019.
