In front of a packed house at The Brewery in central London, CSM Live saw off stiff competition from other global organisations to collect the award for Best Business Serving Sport (more than 60 employees) at the Sports Business Awards 2018.

The award recognised CSM Live for creating world-class experiences across nearly every type of sport in nearly every continent on the globe. Its investment in innovation and creative technology was seen as truly helping drive the sports industry forward.

Over the last twelve months CSM Live transformed Twickenham Stadium, the home of England Rugby, into a spectacular NFL venue for two of the London Games fixtures. It delivered an engaging and innovative event in Mumbai, helping a top Premier League football club create deeper connections with its Indian fans. CSM Live also activated Johnnie Walker’s Formula 1 sponsorship for the European Grand Prix, creating a pop-up bar and satellite sampling units to educate and engage the target audience and help increase sample to sales.

Now in its second year, the Sports Business Awards were conceived to celebrate the hard work and achievements of individuals and teams who make sporting success possible.

Alastair Bewick, CEO of CSM Live, commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded the Best Business Serving Sport. It is great recognition for everyone involved in the business and all the hard work they put in to create world-class sporting experiences.”

On CSM Live’s winning entry, the judges noted: “The sheer scale of the projects being delivered around the world makes this pretty special across football, NFL, horse racing and other sports and the use of ground-breaking new technology in Meshh has added a new dimension to what they can do within venues. It’s hard to argue with that kind of scale and professionalism.”
