Butlin’s Conference and Events has appointed Amanda Ellis as national sales manager to further bolster the growing conference and events team and drive business growth.

Before joining Butlin’s Conference and Events, Ellis held the position of national account manager at the Fairmont St Andrews, in Scotland, where she was responsible for selling to the MICE markets in London and the South, as well as the international markets of France, Italy, Russia, Estonia and Poland.

Amanda joins the team with more than 15 years’ experience in the MICE industry having also worked at The Gleneagles Hotel, Audleys Wood Hotel, Newbury Racecourse and Marriott Hotels.

As national sales manager, Ellis’ role will predominately be field based, with travel between the support office in Hertfordshire and the three coastal resorts (Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness). She will be responsible for building relationships with agents, working with Butlin’s conference sales, marketing and operational teams, developing strategy, and ultimately bringing in new business to the team.
