Ashfield Meetings and Events, a full service healthcare event management agency, has expanded its management team with the appointment of Hayley Greaves as operations director.

Greaves has more than 17 years of events experience, including five years working within various healthcare companies. She joins from Smith and Nephew, an international wound care and surgical devices business,where she led the marketing communications and events across Europe and Canada. Other previous roles include events, marketing, communications and operational development.

Greaves will report to Penny Callaghan, director of operations and business services, providing the operational and venue sourcing teams with guidance and ensuring efficient working practices across the business.

Commenting on her appointment, Greaves said: “I am thrilled to take on the responsibility of operations director in such a dynamic and innovative company and I’m excited to bring my global healthcare experience into Ashfield’s agency environment. This is a fantastic opportunity and I’m looking forward to developing key operational objectives to ensure we continue to provide the highest level of service to our portfolio of clients.”
