Over the duration of the weekend, VolksWorld attracts more than 16,000 people from all over the UK and overseas, many of whom will use their campervans and tents to camp on the site.
Utilising more than 80 per cent of the Sandown Park Site, VolksWorld takes on a festival feel with sale stands, clubs, refreshment stalls, music, entertainment and the iconic Volkswagen Campervan display taking centre stage. An area of the site is a dedicated Kids-Space, which includes interactive games, such as a Campervan Scalextric-style race.
Adrian Vaughan, VolksWorld’s organiser, said: “We always bring VolksWorld back to Sandown Park Racecourse and have worked with them now for 25 years. The team are so accommodating and the space is flexible enough to bring every element of the show together, from vehicles to enthusiast-clubs, stalls and attractions.”
