This week we’ve had an abundance of news regarding sporting events, namely, running ones.

To begin with, The Windsor Triathlon will become known as the Nuffield Health Royal Windsor Triathlon, as a new partnership with the Nuffield Health inspires a name change. The event will take place on June 18, 2017, for its 27th year.

Secondly, a new Event Village has been announced by Grounded Events, the organiser of the Brighton Marathon Weekend. The area will be open to more than 100,000 people across the three-day event, which takes place from April 7-9, 2017.

Lastly, The Great Run Company has announced that Arcadis will become the company’s City Development Partner in four of its key cities across the UK. The agreement covers the Simplyhealth Great Edinburgh Run, the Simplyhealth Great Team Relay, the Simplyhealth Great Bristol Half Marathon and the Simplyhealth Great Birmingham Run, as well as becoming title sponsor of the Business Challenge events in Bristol and Edinburgh.
