JMT, the event furniture and floorcoverings company, has launched its new online platform that allows event organisers, venues, stand builders and designers to create their event space, positioning furniture, selecting the colour and the style of furniture to perfectly match their branded environment.

Michelle Amer, sales director at JMT, commented: “We wanted to provide an online resource, for anyone planning an event, that would allow them to design how the furniture would look within their event space. They can select any one of more than 10,200 pieces of furniture in a large number of styles and wide range of colours, to ensure that the furniture matches and supports the theme or branding of the event.”

The web-based platform will be deployed to customers across Europe supported by the seven JMT group companies, and it has a simple drag and drop floor planning feature to allow quick styling of any event space. The system will automatically provide real-time pricing, with the customer’s history being available to allow a simple reuse if nothing has changed.

“It was our intention to create an easy to use 2D and 3D environment that allowed anyone to be able to create and experiment with the design of their event space without the need for them to be a trained CAD operator. We believe that it is far more important for the users to enjoy the experience of creating their space within the platform, giving them the maximum ability to create with the minimum technical knowledge required,” continued Amer.

The platform will be accessible via the company website and is available in multiple languages. Once the user is happy with the design it can then be saved and emailed.
