This week we have seen expansion plans across the board and across the globe too.
Vivid Sydney, the festival of music and ideas, has revealed growth plans for 2017, with a new precinct in Barangaroo, an expanded light walk through the Royal Botanical Garden Sydney and imaginary creatures that will transform the sails of the Sydney Opera House.
A bit closer to home, British Marine Boat Shows, organiser of the London Boat Show, has announced plans for a re-defined event for next year. The event will now be five days long and has introduced a new show, the Boating and Watersports Holiday Show.
Expansion hasn’t just taken part within events, but also with entertainment agencies too. Global, the media and entertainment group, has created a new commercial team to develop brand partnerships for its portfolio of 17 festivals across the UK, Europe and Canada.
