Now operating as a full-service event agency, Broadsword has announced that it is now fully operational in its new headquarters at Somerset House. It has a brand new website on the way, which outlines the company culture and core services, event design, event planning and event production.
In the last few years, Broadsword has had a rather major growth spurt. With a talented core team of 25, the directors have invested a lot of time in finding the right people to innovatively design and expertly deliver projects.
Within stepping distance of Waterloo Bridge and the West End, the group is delighted to be right in the heart of the buzz and excitement of Central London. The new office will act as Broadsword’s “Ideas hub” where staff are encouraged to be curious, creative and collaborative.
Matt Green, commercial director, commented: “We had simply outgrown our previous space so made the decision that our established warehouse, workshop and technical base will remain in Beckenham, while our new premises will service the evolving needs of our talented creative team and our clients.”
Somerset House is a multi-purpose venue, with offices, cafes, event spaces, art galleries, a seasonal ice rink, outdoor cinema and a museum. It is home to a thriving community of creative businesses, artists and makers – of which Broadsword is now one.
Green added: “We’re not doing anything different really. We have been delivering a full-service offering to selected clients on specific projects for over a year but now, with our new Central London hub, Broadsword Event House branding and redesigned website, we are opening up these services to new customers and really shouting about it from the Somerset House rooftops (we are on the third floor)! We do hope you will come and visit us in our new abode, the doors are always open – just let us know when you’re in the area!”
