Organisers, local authorities and emergency services are being encouraged to give their views on safety advisory group (SAG) guidance.
The Emergency Planning College is urging the events industry to review The UK Good Practice Guide to Working in Safety Advisory Groups and offer advice, best practice and recent case studies.
The guidance clearly sets out the role of the SAG, defining how it should be set up as well as identifying who should attend, what events should be considered by a SAG and what an organiser can expect when attending.
The Emergency Planning College is looking for responses by March 30.
